1989 BMW 525i timing set

1989 BMW 525i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how do I set timing on 1989 525i bmw I set head markings for timing and fly wheel both match but engine turns over but will not start it is getting gas I did this after I changed timing belt (new)?
