I bought an old 92 320i BMW a few weeks ago. The other day I drove it and everything seemed fine. Next morning the clutch was gone/dead/no pressure/lifeless.

I'm not too experienced on engines but had a look inside - the breke fluid seems fine ie its at the correct level. Not sure if there is a seperate clutch fluid? In anyways any ideas what happened and what I need to fix it?

Regards

It sounds like the clutch master/clutch slave cylinders are in need of replacement. Although the master is probably the one that failed, I would inspect the slave and if there were any doubt it would get replaced as well. The brake fluid reservoir is the clutch fluid reservoir as well.
