could you please tell me if there is a point in the engine that I could jump start my bmw as my battery has went flat and I can not open the boot.

Under the hood in the engine compartment there should be a red plastic cover with a plus sign on. Under this is a live point. Earth lead to the engine or I use the bolt's on the suspension top
