1995 BMW 316 Strange grinding noise
Noises problem
1995 BMW 316 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 200000 miles
I got a strange grinding noise from front passenger side. The sound does not exists when the car was fresh start in a day. It only start makeing noise when the car run abit. The noise also DISAPPEAR when break apply. Some strange scratches were found on the surface of the break disc where its not suppose to have. Break disc and pads were change half year ago. all tyres were new as well.

Your description may be related to a wheel bearing failure. I wish I could be more specific, but this is as good a place to start as any. Elevate the suspect wheel and give it a spin, is it noisy? Could be the bearing.
