Engine Performance problem
1976 BMW 2002 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 126000 miles
My car runs very smooth as long as I drive straight or make a right but if I turn left or even jerk the wheel to the left the car bucks backfires or stalls????
I just had the distributer rebuit at a car shop it smoothed out the idol but did not help this problem.

What part of the world are you in? I may be able to direct you to a local shop. A 1976 2002 is not an easy car to diagnose from cyberspace, with what you've told me it could be anything from a loose wire to a carburetor issue.
