Last November my battery died on me and I had to buy a new one. Now y car won't start again. Is it the battery, which I have only had for 6 months, or is it something more serious? I got a boost yesterday and it started just fine and I drove it around for a few minutes to warm it up but now it won't start again. I also opened the good yesterday and noticed the cords are still connected to the battery but somehow the battery itself has come loose from the screws and that I was able to pick up the battery while still connected to the cords. Could this be the problem?

sounds like the battery has been improperly installed. just because it's new doesn't mean it's good it could have gone bad. Have the battery rechecked for condition and load test. also have your charging system checked first.
