I have an abs light and brake light come on simotaniously when I start my car. Most the time when I shut off the car and restart it it goes away. It just started with just the brake light beeping 3 times which I thought was just hot brakes because I was braking down a hill at the time, but after that it only comes on when I start the car, and it's both lights. What could be wrong?

I think you may have a faulty pressure switch or wheel sensor, sometimes you get a bunch of metal shavings built up on the little magnets and cause a screwed up signal, that will trigger the lights, both lights will come on together nine times out of ten no matter what the problem is whether its a simple problem or serious problem, nevertheless, it needs to be scanned.

Well went to autozone just now and used the reader to check the codes. The code p1606 came up and all that means is the connection or the module so I'm still have no idea. Ima try and take my wheels off today and check those connections. I'll keep ya posted on what I find.

I finally got a chance to pull out my sensors and check them. They were pretty dirty so I had cleaned then up. They looked a lil scratched up which surprised me a bit. I guess I'm trying to figure out if this wear and tear is normal and if it should be working in that condition.

Another thing, I think I've narrowed it down to the sensors because now that they been taken out and cleaned, my light comes on alot less now and when it does, it does only stay on for a lol bit then turns off. What you guys think?
