Front squeeking noise

1999 Audi Quattro 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 155000 miles
It's an Audi 1.8T quattro.
This happened recently, when the car is not moving or moving slowly and i try to turn the steering wheel there is a loud squeeking noise. The soud is less obvious when driving at high speeds and taking turns.
If the car is running straight u do not hear anything..
