Overheat
Engine Cooling problem
1997 Audi Quattro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 135000 miles
have replaced the thermostat due to overheating and loosing coolant.
still overheats.... Tried to bleed the air out of the systm. by way of pulling out heater hose where it's still attached but the bleeder hole is exposed so it will let the water out....still cant seem to get all the air out. it spits both water and steam out of the hole continually. never get a full stream of water flow out of the bleeding hole. coolant backs into the expansion tank boiling. gauge goes beyond normal halfway to Hot.
what are your suggestions.???
