1996 Audi Quattro Engine Won't Crank
Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Audi Quattro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 180,00 miles
Car started having problems right off the lot. Ignition switch was replaced and that fixed the electrical problems. Then the car wouldn't start and only had about 2 or 3 volt reading. The battery was replaced.
Now the car won't even crank. Everything electrical works perfectly. The battery registers 12v. Turning the key turns on everything electrical, but it doesn't crank, or make any engine noise whatsoever. There's not even a click to signify it's trying to start.
It's dead in the yard right now.

Check the starting system-starting from the ignition switch, park and neutral position switch, starter relay and starter.
