1995 Audi Quattro Oil leaking

1995 Audi Quattro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 168000 miles
I have Oil leaking from above the Oil filter. Aparts guy said he thought there was another gasget behind the filter. If so, will I have to lift the engine to get to it. All I can do is feel up there. Bad News? Help....

What your parts guy is talking is the oil cooler it takes a same gasket as the oil filter, you will have to remove the oil filter, there is a nut holding the oil cooler, remove the nut and the coolant lines, and the oil cooler will comel, right down, change the old ring ( which is the same as the oil filter) reinstall.
