Brakes problem
2005 Audi Cabriolet 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 31000 miles
Question regarding front disc wear. Dealer said discs were glazed and he checked system and found no problems. My local repair shop said discs are not glazed. Brakes are orignal equipment.
I replaced the rear pads since they were almost "metal to metal". Front pads have plenty of wear remaining.
The rear wheels have the usual brake dust, while there is no dust on the front wheels. This is unusual.
Since front brakes normally wear faster, what would cause the rear brakes to be replaced first and no brake dust on front wheels?
