2001 Audi Allroad Thermostat Gauge
Engine Cooling problem
2001 Audi Allroad 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 78000 miles
In winter, if I turn the heater on, it takes about 5 minutes for hot air to start blowing. I know the needle on my temperature gauge should get up to the middle point, but it only gets about 1/3 of the way there. The shop told me the car won't heat up if I don't get a new thermostat for the bargain price of $600-$800. I want to die. Before I even have them look at it, is there another possibility?
