2004 Audi A6 Error code PO492 Secondary air system (Bank2)

How do you repair the above error code and find out possible causes and their locations. Please advise.

I would say that you might either have a bad diverter valve or a clogged passage. What you have to do is activate the Sec. Air sys.(Always comes on during cold start) and see if you are getting vacuum to your diverter vavle. If you are then I would start with a diverter valve first. The valve is located on the back side of the cylinder head. Looks like an egr valve. HTH
