2004 Audi A4 Check Engine Light Flashing

As I was driving on the expressway this morning, my check engine light started flashing and the engine started shaking. Now there is a constant shaking in the car. What could be causing this?

The first thing to do is to go to your local parts store (Autozone, CSK/O'Reilly, Advance, whatever you have in your area) and have them scan the computer. Advize us with the code(s) that you receive.
