Rear indicator bulb

2001 Audi A4 6 cyl Manual 78000 miles
Can you help me by telling me how to change the rear indicator light bulb. The manual says take it to a main dealer and I don't want to do this for a light bulb.
Also my esp light has come on and is staying on. It is not going off when i press the switch or turn engine off and back on again. The car seems to drive fine and there is no apparent problem with traction control or breaking etc. The engine check system always says checks ok. No problem with ABS either? can you advise.
