1986 Audi 5000 Repair Question

1986 Audi 5000 climate control
Under able to get and keep air from being transfered from defrost to the air vents or floor vents. Able to do this if I push the rod uner the dash.

Hi cpocal,
The rod is out of adjustment so to rectify the problem you need to readjust it.
