Electrical problem
1986 Audi 5000 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 166000 miles
My car all of a sudden wouldnt start i figured it was the ignition coil because i have power to it but not out of it ! So i have a new one but dont have a diagram to hook it up and every way ive tried so far ive got nothing! I need help???

Have you tried investigating the ignition switch? I've changed my ignition switch with about 311,000 km. necessary remove steering wheel and instrument cluster. Getting reddish locktite out of side of ignition switch, using small slit screwdriver to remove wires away. ignition switch cost $45.
