1996 Other AMC Models will not idle
Engine Performance problem
1996 Other AMC Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 102000 miles
car has been checked for battery and alternator, all is fine. car has run great, until the a.m. would not idle unless you kept foot on gas and kept in a high rpms. what could the problem be? thank you

Clean out the idle air control and EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor
