Both mounting and tension bolts are badly worn and have always loosened up.
Because of where I live and my health, I cannot pull the bolts and match them in town. Nor do I trust they are the original bolts and washers to begin with.

It would be great to know the best washers and nuts or fastening system to prevent loosening, the grade and size of each bolt, and any other identifiers. This is so I can either order them or have them picked up without disabling my only transportation.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Kirk Giberson

Ok as for size of the bolts and such is not something most can look up about the only one that might would be the dealer. As for the grade most alternators use standard grade 5 bolts no need for much more, Now for you problem of them loosening up well my thoughts are this if the bolt fits good and everything then I would blue loctite them. Blue Loctite is a anti vibration grade and will fix the problem of the bolts vibrating loose and yet if you ever have a problem with the alternator you will be able to get the bolts back off. I hope this answer helps anything else please just ask.

We appreciate your donation. After some research I was able to locate the replacement mounting hardware for your alternator.

You can find the alternator hardware here: http://www.toyotapartswebstore.com/

They are special order so you will need to contact them via their phone order desk.
