REPLACING THE FLASHER

Hello, I have been told that I need to replace the flasher in my 90 Pontiac Sunbird. The guy at AUTOZONE, told me that it is located under the steering wheel, however, I popped off that panel and I don't see anything that even looks close to the new flasher. Does anyone know where it is REALLY located?[/i:e86bf41d33]
