Just this week loud squeaking started(cold mornings and after car sitting for hours). Sounds like very loud squeaking metal on metal springs - loudest on front passenger side. Squeak sounds when turning steering wheel when parked (I park in gravel drive), and driving on uneven surface when the chassis moves. Stops squeaking after driving for some time - or during midday when warm. Can make noise if I rock/bounce car hard when parked. Has 170,000 miles Was offered suggestions of sway bar bushings, struts and strut boots. I'm in area where I don't have anyone I can ask and don't know whom I can trust. Pep Boys wants to do whole shebang and didn't want to test drive it to see. Would appreciate your valuable advice.
