Hello, I have a 1987 ford escort xr3i cabriolet with only 45000 miles on the clock. Its a 1.6i engine.
Recently it has developed a small electrical problem. When I drive, most noticable when I put mu foot on the accelarator the abs and handbrake light flicker making a small sizzle noise (like clicking). I have tried many things like check brake fluid look for a bad earth, check the abs system etc. Could it be the fuel pump relay by any chance?
