My sister took my 1995 Geo Tracker 4-bying about 2 months ago. She ran the engine hard for about 4 hours and then attempted to drive through a "puddle" which turned out to be more like a lake. She was going 30+ when she hit. She made it about half way through before the mud completly stopped her. The engine continued to run as she panic'd at the water rushing in under the damaged drivers door. She shut the car off and the water came up to the seats. We got it pulled out within 20 minuites and we took the air filter out and pulled the spark plugs. It hasnt started since. Ive put penitrating fluid all in it and we've rocked it and tried to pop start it. The battery is new and I get plenty of power but when I try to start it, it clicks as though the battery is dead. It doesnt crank or anything. I Only spent 900 on it so I dont want to spend much more please help!

. Take off the distributor cap and make sure there is no water or moisture in it
2. Also look for standing water in the injector connections
3. Slap her
4. Make sure when you turn the ignition key to on listen for the whirring of the fuel pump in the rear as it may have burned out
5. Check your timing as through all the bumps and the water it may have damaged and stretched the belt allowing it to slip a tooth

good luck lemme know :)
