I am a complete new guy for car. It is my first car and I am fighting for my driver license now. I got it two weeks ago. When I bought the car, I asked the seller about timing belt since it close to 100,000 miles. he told me the car does not have a timing belt. but today I found it has a timing chain!
Are they samethings? Do I need change the chain? I search on web someone said the timing chain could last for 250,000 miles. is it true?
A guy told me it would cost several hundreds on it. I am a foreign student, do not have a lot of money to do the replacement.
Any suggestion is great for me!
