2007 Alfa Romeo 159 s Chirping bearing noise -engine bay
Noises problem
2007 Alfa Romeo 159 s 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 17000 miles
There is a high pitched chirping noise coming from the engine bay . Its difficult to find as it could be coming from any one of the revolving pumps etc.
I originally thought it to be coming from the alternator so I replaced it but its still there.
It happens as soon as the car is started louder and constant but as the car warms up it it changes from soft to loud to soft. Hard to hear when moving but its always there.
Performance is not effected so I was considering leaving it until something obvious happens but the warranty is up in May and I dont want to be stuck with huge repair cost.
Any ideas?
