Clutch problem

Transmission problem
1994 Acura Vigor 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 225000 miles

the engine size is actually a 5 cylinder 2.5 ltr. didnt have the option for it on the drop down menu though.
anyways

i know what it feels like to have a clutch go out. but i have only felt it gradually get worse in other cars.

in my acura vigor the clutch just drops straight to the ground and does not pop back up. and also will not let me go into gear.

is this problem as simple as a cable or a spring for the clutch.
or could it be the whole clutch needs replacing?

thanks in advance.

The clutch on this system is hydraulic. you need to look at the master or slave unit as the problem. Check the clutch reservoir to see if the level is full or empty. Start with that and then if it is very low you will need to bleed it. The bleeder is located on the slave which is on the tranny. That may get you some clutch back BUT you need to determine what is causing the leak. now it is possible that the fluid is still up there so then the master cylinder or slave have a problem with an internal leak that does not allow it to perform.
