1993 Acura Vigor Repair Question

93 shakes idoling and around 2
Shakes or Wobbles problem
1993 Acura Vigor Front Wheel Drive Manual 175000 miles
I'm looking at buying a 93 Acura Vigor but when I test drove it today the engine was shaking really bad when it was idoling and around 2,000rpm - 3,000rpm. It felt like the car was almost going to die. It seems to be fine at higher rpms (3,000+) but as soon as it gets below 2,500rpms it starts shuttering really bad. I believe the owner used regular gas instead of premium, so I thought that could be the problem. But I was wondering if you had any ideas what it could be. Thanks for your time :)
