I have a 2002 acura rsx type s and I got a new clutch and when I got my car back I had the malfunction indicator lamp on, and didnt notice it until two weeks later, I took it to advance auto parts to see what it was and it came up saying it was a knock sensor problem I believe. I was wondering where I could get a knock sensor and is it something I can replace on my own, if so, what are the steps to do this.

Located on left side engine facing front. Near oil filter see if connector may have been pulled loose during repair.

I have the same condition too. I have the manual transmission rebuilt on an 04 Acura RSX Type S and a couple of days later, the OBD showed a P0325 code which says Knock Sensor malfunction. Since the code showed up, I experienced engine stalling; sometime the idle went low and stopped. I will try to replace if this knocks off the malfunction indicator light.
