1996 Acura RL Humming noise coming from rear end
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1996 Acura RL 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 202000 miles
I just bought my first car -- 1996 Acura 3.5 RL. I love Acura's and I was very happy to buy one for my first car. Unfortunately this car came with a few things that needed to be fixed. The man I bought it from told me off the bat that there was a humming noise coming from the rear end of the car and he was pretty sure that it was the rear bearings needed to be replaced. I was wondering A. does this sound like it could just be fixed by replacing the bearings? the humming noise increases with speed. B. i live in mass., how much does it generally cost to replace the bearings?
