Hello I had a question. I just bought a 1992 acura integra I drove it accross state and then for a period of about 2 weeks then randomly one day the check engine light came on and it started running really poorly. I had someone check it out and they checked the check engine codes and both a code 4 and code 43 came on. Then after resetting the codes the code 43 went away. Then for about a week everytime I would start the car the check engine light would be off and it would drive fine then after a couple miles the light would come on and it would drive poorly and it wouldnt go over 3400 rpm. At 3400 rpm it would shake a lot it felt almost like a governer of some sort. Then recently it started dying as I brake. Again it will drive fine for a few miles then die as I brake after that. The check engine lights are only periodic now but when the do come on it wont die when I brake and it is still a check engine code 4. I am very confused and have no idea what to buy. The guy who checked it out said it probably needs a new distributor and possibly a new fuel pump. Any information would be appreciated.

Code 4 is crank position sensor
if code return after resting codes suspect bad sensor and Check for poor and loose connections at CRANK/CYL sensor connector and ECU connector
Check continuity to body ground on each terminal. If continuity exists, replace CRANK/CYL sensor
