I own a 1988 integra with a 1987 engine. A few months ago it started to have a hot start problem. I have replaced the plugs,wires,coil, igniter,coolant sensor,cap,rotor and it still persists. What I do to get it to start is to remove the computer reset fuse at the battery wait 5 minutes reinsert fuse and then it fires right up! I notice that there is a slight oil film between the igniter and the distributor as well.I have replaced the distributor o-ring. The mileage is 352000 kilometers. I live in Canada hence the kilometers. It has a 1.6 litre engine.
Also the compression is 180 psi or better. :D
