Acura Integra 1998 ls 4 door 146,000 miles
Today, I notice the check engine light came on when I was on my way home today. I took it to get scanned at autozone and they told me the following code P1706, now all I can find on the code is Open in Transmission Range Switch Circuit. The car feels the same, transmission still shifting smoothly, nothing has changed. Could this be a faulty switch? Is it ok to drive with it till I get to a mechanic? Any advice would be helpful, Thanks
