So, the other day I left my 1995 Acura Integra 4dr LS parked on a hill without the E-brake on. When I got back to it, the car started, but I couldn't get it out of park.

Also, my instrument panel didn't work... not only did it not light up, but the gauges didn't move. The turn signals lit up fine on the dash, but the lights that had been on (ABS and Maintenance Req'd) were not lit.

A friend told me to unlock the shift lock with my key, put it in neutral, start the car, and put it in drive. This has been working to get the car moving... but my gauges are still screwed up. What could this be?
I have 152K miles on it.
