I am planning on replacing my plugs and wires in my '03 Acura CL. I drive a lot and have no intention of getting rid of my ride any time soon (hopefully). There has been a lot of buzz lately about pulse plugs. What is your recommendation: Are Pulse Plugs work the extra money or should I stick with an OEM traditional plug?

Thanks,

Steven

As with any issue, this unit comes with all pros and cons, depending on who you talk to about it. Some people like it, some are very skeptical about it. Even my work, we have just started selling the pulse plug, everyone wants to try it just so we can tell customer, our first hand experience with it. I will be trying it on my own vehicle at the end of the month so I can provide hands on experience with dyno test result and mpg increase (if any). Here is the test result that the company has claimed to achieved.

One of the test car was 2004 Acura TL 3.2L (which is very similar to yours) was said to have gained 13.2 extra mpg.

I say: Go for it.
