I have a 1997 2.2 Acura CL and the little buttons that make my horn work have broken off and my horn no longer works. My mechanic said that the piece I need is no longer made and I needed to get a whole new steering colum. He said I needed to get a new steering colum. A used one is still a few hundred dollars and then I have to pay labor as well. I have been looking around on the internet and have saw the train air horns. Do I have any other options? What would you recommend?

Why not just purchase the button(s) assembly from a salvage yard. Just because they are no longer made doesn't mean they are non existant. There should still be plenty of them on used, salvaged vehicles. Or you can just wire up an aftermarket button and mount it inside somewhere. Eitherway, much cheaper than buying and replacing a steering column just for the horn.
