Acceleration battery light and brake light

My 2006 nissan altima im curiuos why my battery light is on and also the brake light also but for some reason the car rides normal for maybe 4miles and then it all of sudden decreases in acceleration and drives at 10 mph whats my problem

Have the battery load tested for a faulty cell, check that the alternator charge rate is correct and check that all battery terminals and earths are clean and tight, start here.

Ive replaced the battery with a new one the battery light is still on and it seems like it wont hold the charge now
