AC air routing not switching to Recirc fully

This is regarding my 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with the 3.7L V6. When I switch my AC over to "Recirc" with the knob when using the AC, it does not seem to fully switch over in the dashboard. It still acts like I have it in fresh air intake mode. And not Recirc. And the airflow is weaker taking longer to cool off the car. The temperature of the AC is just fine. Its just an air flow issue. I am pretty mechanically inclined and could repair the issue myself, but I am not 100% sure where to start troubleshooting.

So with recirculation on it doesn't get much stronger air flow? Also do you have manual ac or auto climate control?

I posted a diagram for you the recirculation door is number four in the diagram turn the recirculation door on and off several times with the blower motor turned on. Let me know if there is any movement. Also if there is wires going to the recirculation door actuator? It doesn't give a lot of details in my online info we use on this site about the recirculation door.
