I recently purchased a 2006 maxima that has the ABS, TCS, Slip and Brake light all on. There also is a roaring in the rear of the car similar to a bad Rear wheel bearing. Brakes seem fine and do not jerk or seem soft. Took to my Mechanic. He pulled all four wheels and bearings turn free and do not seem to be bad. He noticed that the Right rear ABS sensor was unplugged. He plugged back in and put all wheels back on. Took for a test drive and could not get over 5 mph even if he put to the floor. Rpm did not go up, just went slow.

Seems like someone unplugged this sensor on the right and not the left. He reached under the car and unplugged and the car was back to full power, but all lights still on.

Before I start putting thousands into the car, can you tell where I should start replacing parts. Thanks in advance. John.

Here's where I would start but your going to need a professional scan tool that can read all the computers in your car not a diyer scan tool or a free code read at the auto parts store. Plug in the speed sensor clear all the codes in all the computers and drive it to see whatcodes set. Then let me know the exact code numbers not code ddescriptions? You might even need that professional scaan tool depending on the codes.
