Hello there again dear Caradiodoc. Needless to say, I am SO grateful to you for the extremely useful advice you have given me so far. Could I please ask you another question? Can anything unpleasant happen to the engine of a car in the long term if it is NEVER driven over 80 kilometers? All the best!

I f you mean 80k round tri the answer is no as long as you do your maintenance like oil changes, filters etc. You should drive it further distances every once in a while though.

Dear hmac300 thanks a lot for the advice but that's not what I meant. Can something unpleasant happen to the engine of a car in the long term if its owner NEVER exceeds the speed of 80 kilometers? Kind regards and thanks a lot in advance.

Ok no I don't think so long as the oil I s changed etc. Like I said the first time hell look at all the little old ladies that do that. The only thing that kills the motor and or trans is improper maintenance. The only thing I can think of is it may be hard on the cams after a eriod of time because it would be right in the heavy cam pressure area due to rpm.
