2014 Chevrolet Impala Heated Steering wheel

The heat only warms the lower half of the steering wheel. The top 1/2 where your hands are supped to be does not warm up. Brought the car in for repair and was told that's the way this wheel is. There is a wood grain insert on the top 1/2 and the rest of the top 1/2 is leather wrapped. I have had a Denali in the past with a similar wheel & the wood grain insert wasn't heated but the leather wrap was. I find it hard to believe that the part of the wheel where your hands are supposed to be while driving is not intended to be heated. This is a top of the line Impala with all the options.

I don't know what you're expecting us to say if the manufacturer told you it was designed that way. If the wheel has different materials in the 2 sections, that would be a reason why.
