Just bought a new ford kuga zetec 2 litre diesel, when I refuel the guage is taking at least 10 minutes to register, I took the car back to the ford dealer and they said that it was okay, I have had ford's for 40 years and never experienced this before, can you help?

1 or 2 minutes for it to show correct reading would be normal but 10 minutes is rather long.
Since vehicle is new, you should get back to dealer to have them confirm.
