Over the last 2 months, my blower increasingly does not work at all. Some days all the settings, low to high work just fine. Other days I get nothing, as if it isn't even getting a current. However it is when I start the car is how it stays for the duration of that drive. I checked my blower fuses and relay. They were fine and seated solid. Where else can I look?

I figured out that when I lift the hood and firmly tap on the blower motor, it starts working again. So does this mean I need a new blower motor?

Mo than likely or try running a ground wire from one of the screws on the blower motor mount to the engine or body. If that doesn't work then replace the motor.
