NISSAN MURANO NOISE PROBLEM
2011 Nissan Murano • 12,000 miles
I am experiencing a whistling noise with my 2011 Murano at approximately 40 miles an hour and faster. The noise gets louder the faster I go and seems to be coming from the area of the windshield. I took my vehicle to my dealer who took a test drive with me and acknowledged they heard the noise. They checked the door, window, and sunroof seals and they all appear to be in perfect condition. I bought the vehicle new about 1 year ago but just started experiencing the noise in the past 2 months or so. I have checked online forums and have discovered other Murano owners with the same complaint. Some have taken their vehicle to their dealer to troubleshoot the issue, and while the dealer hears the whistling noise, they cannot locate the problem and write it off as a normal condition. It seems to me if this was a normal condition it would have been occurring since the day I bought the vehicle. The noise is very annoying and the dealer response is not an acceptable response. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated as I am at a loss and becoming increasingly frustrated.
