I was thinking of buying a 2011 Mitsubishi lancer but I've heard they are expensive to fix if a problem shows up. I want to know if that is true or if people based their information off of the more expensive/tuned Mitsubishi's?

All cars are expensive to fix. The frequency of repair is determined by the way you take care of it. Be very carefull to do all servcies and it will take care of you.
