Once in awhile of late, my car will need the gas peddle depressed upon starting takes bite, then it starts runs great just ever so often takes the key to be held little longer at the same time. Then it starts I still have everything original plugs+cables, battery well maintained oil changed every 3000 miles is it the battery? Or something else. What? Thankyou Beverly

Hello,

I have seen this problem, please clean the throttle body which will allow the computer to react to the throttle sensor. Here is a guide to help you fix the problem. Disconnect the battery before you begin.
