What will happen if i drive an automatic car, but forgot to lower the hand brake?
As soon as I stop the car, I smelled like there was something like burning under the car.

The brake shoes were burning. You'll need to replace them and at least turn the drums. You may also have to bleed the brakes because you may have also boiled the brake fluid in the wheel cylinders.
