I got a drill stuck in a run flat tire. Can I patch it?
When my tire pressure light went on in my car(<30 psi), I continued driving on the run-flat for approximately 20 more miles. I got to a tire repair shop and I had ~10 psi, so they patched it. Is it safe to continue driving on this run flat tire? I live in Italy, so going 100+ mph is not uncommon on a daily basis. I have plugged tires before and they have been fine. My main concern is whether or not I may have damaged the sidewall by driving on the run flat for 20 miles or so.
