Brown spots after rain.

Sometimes when it rains my cars dries with a few brown spots. Often it is the spots from water that falls from the garage down while it is open and I see them in the back (on the trunk, etc.) These brown spots wipe off even after a day. Could this be a problem or cause any damage? What could the brown spots be? My car is White.

Sounds like the brown spots is coming from your garage could be rust

Could the rust cause any harm or can it just be wiped off (even if it is on the car for a bit)?

Try wiping it off won't come off-use rubbing compound

Would park it some where else. Rust is small bits of metal that can scratch
