A 1/2 INCH CRACK
2010 Hyundai Elantra • 3,100 miles
I have a 1/2 inch crack in the inner wheel well on the passanger's side. It is part of the bumper but the little part that bends around into the wheel well and faces back towards the wheel itself. The entire area is only about 1 inch wide and the crack is about 1/2 inch. It is not an issue in terms of looks because you would have to look into the wheel well itself to see it. I know that it will not fall off because it is held onto in many areas. However, what are the chances that I will be lucky and this crack wont get any bigger? Would it have to get hit by something pretty hard for it to get bigger or would it happen over time? I cannot replace the entire front bumper because of a crack inside the wheel well but I do not want this crack to get bigger. Should I be okay?
